Downtown Little Rock Community Development Corporation - 501-372-0148
The organization is a non-profit group made up of residents in the downtown area.  Our
mission is to improve downtown Little Rock through development of affordable housing and
neighborhood revitalization.  The DLRCDC developed and manages the Mahlon Martin
Community Apartments providing 45 units of affordable rental housing in six historically
restored buildings on South Main and Scott Street.  Also, we are a non-profit sponsor of the
Kramer School Artists Cooperative.  Our organization has constructed four single-family
homes downtown in the East of Main Street area and will soon construct two more in this
    area.

    Scary Stuff
The QQA is working with staff of the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau to gather
information for a brochure on the haunted places of Little Rock.  If you have had strange
encounters in your own home, church, business, etc., or know of other haunted places in
downtown Little Rock, we want to know. Stories can be scary or amusing or in-between.
Don't worry if you don't have a lot of background information to make a good "story"; we can
    research those later.

Please send them to the QQA at P. O. Box 165023, LR  72216; e-mail them to
qqa@quapaw.com; or fax to 374-8142.  The brochure (or book) is planned for release in
    October 2005.

    Historic House Markers
The QQA is currently preparing an order for new historic house markers.  Homeowners
wishing to purchase a sign for their house should contact the QQA office.

To be eligible for a sign, the house must be individually listed (or eligible for listing) on the
National Register of Historic Places or be a contributing structure in a National Register
    Historic District.

For information on pricing and eligibility, please contact the QQA office directly at 371-0075
    or at qqa@quapaw.com.
